Titled Resident Evil 3 Last Escape, this mod will restore content that was cut from the remake but was present in the original version of RE3. It will also bring entirely new locations, expand the city, and redesign core gameplay systems. Sadly, there is no ETA for when it will come out,

The mod restores cut content like the Clock Tower and Park areas while adding new playable locations such as Uptown, Cemetery, RPD, and Disused Plant. It also features expanded levels, fresh Nemesis fights, new puzzles, reworked crafting, and Ink Ribbon saves.
