- AMD
may bring back AM4 processors to help users fight ongoing RAM crisis -
At CES 2026, where AMD announced a bunch of stuff, including new Ryzen
AI 400 processors, 9850X3D, and others, AMD's product manager of Ryzen,
David McAfee, teased a potential return of some of AMD's previous-gen
processors. In an interview, David said that AMD might reintroduce some
of the AM4 chips based on the Zen 3 architecture. David
McAfee explained that bringing back products from the AM4 ecosystem
could "satisfy the demands of gamers," and it is something that AMD "is
definitely very actively working on." Why? The answer is simple:
memory. The AM4 socket is a DDR4-only platform, and the previous-gen
RAM is less affected by the insane price increases
- NVIDIA
May Bring Back Older GPUs Equipped with Next-Gen AI Features -
During a Q&A session, NVIDIA's CEO Jensen Huang hinted that the company
might re-release older graphics cards, integrating them with modern
technologies. This idea could serve as a response to rising VRAM costs
and the increasingly expensive production of chips on new TSMC nodes
(3nm and 2nm), which are expected to be even pricier in 2026. Huang’s
comments align with recent rumors suggesting NVIDIA could revive the
GeForce RTX 3060. He said it might be a good idea, although it would
depend on each generation’s specific situation. The most interesting
part of Huang’s statement is the possibility of adding advanced AI
technologies to older GPU models. He admitted this would require
significant engineering work but said it’s not impossible — and that it
could be a worthwhile idea.
- NVIDIA RTX 60 Could Launch in the Second Half of 2027 -
The first leaks about NVIDIA's upcoming RTX 60 graphics card series are
beginning to surface, and they suggest the cards will be based on a new
architecture known as Rubin. While the market is still adjusting to the
Blackwell (RTX 50) generation and its updates, reports indicate that
NVIDIA is already preparing the next big leap. According to recent
information, the GeForce RTX 60 series will feature major changes not
only in raw rendering power but also in artificial intelligence and
neural rendering capabilities. Current rumors suggest that NVIDIA plans
to release the RTX 60 series in the second half of 2027
- If
this rumor is true, the iPhone 17e will launch in February - The iPhone 17e is expected to be one of the first
products Apple unveils in the first quarter of 2026. The
budget-friendly iPhone has been the subject of numerous rumors and
speculation over the past few months. Chinese leaker Smart Pikachu on
Weibo has now shared fresh information about the upcoming iPhone 17e. According to the leaker,
Apple is preparing to begin mass production of the iPhone 17e this
month. This report aligns with earlier information suggesting that
Apple will kick off its 2026 product launch cycle with the iPhone 17e,
alongside several refreshed iPad models. All in all, we can expect the
iPhone 17e to launch this spring. Last year’s iPhone 16e was released
in late February. Smart Pikachu also said iPhone 17e gets a downclocked
A19 chip. As for the screen size, the iPhone
17e is expected to feature a 6.1-inch OLED display. Smart Pikachu says
Apple is keeping the refresh rate at 60Hz to help keep the price down.

- ChatGPT Health – A Dedicated Space for Health Queries With
Strong Privacy and Security - OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Health,
a specialized platform that helps users securely manage their health
information and receive intelligent support for wellness-related
questions. ChatGPT Health operates as a separate, protected section
within ChatGPT where users can consolidate scattered health information
from medical portals, fitness apps, wearables, and PDFs. The platform
helps users understand lab results, prepare for doctor appointments,
manage diet and workout routines, and navigate healthcare decisions,
all while maintaining strict privacy standards.
- New ChatGPT Flaws Allow Attackers to Exfiltrate Sensitive Data
from Gmail, Outlook, and GitHub -
Critical vulnerabilities in ChatGPT allow attackers to exfiltrate
sensitive data from connected services like Gmail, Outlook, and GitHub
without user interaction. Dubbed ShadowLeak and ZombieAgent, these
flaws exploit the AI’s Connectors and Memory features for zero-click
attacks, persistence, and even propagation.? Attackers send malicious
emails or share files embedding hidden instructions, invisible to
users, via white text, tiny fonts, or footers. In the zero-click
server-side variant, ChatGPT scans the inbox during routine tasks like
summarizing emails, executes the payload, and leaks data through
OpenAI’s servers before users notice.
- 900K Users Compromised: Chrome Extensions Steal ChatGPT and
DeepSeek Conversations - Two rogue Chrome extensions have compromised over
900,000 users by secretly exfiltrating ChatGPT and DeepSeek
conversations, along with full browsing histories, to attacker servers.
Named “Chat GPT for Chrome with GPT-5, Claude Sonnet
& DeepSeek AI” (600K+ users, ID: fnmihdojmnkclgjpcoonokmkhjpjechg,
version 1.9.6) and “AI Sidebar with Deepseek, ChatGPT, Claude and more”
(300K+ users, ID: inhcgfpbfdjbjogdfjbclgolkmhnooop), they request
“anonymous analytics” consent to mask data theft
- Microsoft Enforces Mandatory MFA for Microsoft 365 Admin
Center Logins - Microsoft
is ramping up security measures for its enterprise customers, mandating
multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all users accessing the Microsoft
365 admin center. The policy takes full effect on February 9, 2026,
building on a softer rollout that began in February 2025. Organizations
relying on these tools must act now to avoid disruptions.

document (spotted by Office-Watch)
with a new banner that says that the Send to Kindle feature will be
killed next month:
- Microsoft confirms it just killed a unique and useful way to
activate Windows - A Microsoft spokesperson said that the company
killed the ability to activate Windows via phone on December 3, 2025.
Before that, it served as a convenient and useful way to activate
Windows on so-called "air-gapped" systems that have no access to the
internet or a legal tool for activating long-unsupported Windows
versions. Now, however, all of that is history, and any attempt to call
the offline activation line results in the robot reading the following
message: "Support for product activation has moved online. For the
fastest and most convenient way to activate your product, please visit
our online product activation portal at aka.ms/aoh." Fortunately, it is
still possible to activate Windows 11 in offline mode or without a
Microsoft Account. If you only want to activate a Windows copy with a
local account, you can go to Settings > Activation and just enter
your license key.
For those who want to activate an offline copy, things are a bit more
challenging but still possible. Microsoft says that offline activation
remains available, but users need a second device with an active
internet connection to log into the online activation portal and follow
its instructions to get the job done.

explained that, as of now, nobody at Rockstar Games can confidently
guarantee the announced release date of November 19, leaving the door
open for another possible delay.
