Years ago, Quake 2 new times.
DLC was added 6 months AFTER the game was released as a THANK YOU for purchasing our game, here is some extra free DLC.
It WASNT cut from the main game so you only got 70% of the story and the other was cut up DLC.
IT WAS ALSO FREE!!!
The game devs cared about us gamers, they joined us in fun online games, when multiplayer was actually fun.
I remember 2 of us in Quake 2. I was a naked faerie (hence my name) and nobody would shoot the naked chick.
My friend was a big fat naked women. Nobody would shoot him as they would all be laughing seeing her.
Those were the fun multiplayer days. Now is shoot in the back and run off, who cares for the skin of the character as your already dead.
Multiplayer is no longer fun, thanks esports for ruining all multiplayer games.
And the price. YEARS ago, (I think 2000?) the gamers did join together and complain about games being $100. So what happened? the game devs got together and said ok, we'll drop the price to $60. BUT they also cut up the game, sold all 4 extra DLCs at 1/2 the full price each and now instead of $100 it now costs $150 and you stupid gamers agree with that? YOU FUCKING MORONS!!!
And games.... I've been a gamer for 40 years. A game in the Quake 2 days took about a month to finish. I was a smart gamer, I played every night. I knew how the devs thought and could predict what was going to happen so games wernt too hard and just enjoyable like they should be. Its a GAME. Games are meant to be FUN.
Now, you have FUCKING STUPID HARD games like dead souls. Again, GAMES ARE MEANT TO BE FUN, THATS WHY THEY ARE CALLED GAMES.

Back in the Q2 days, games were fun, multiplayer was fun, dlc was free, games were prices accordingly, gamers were always happy people.
now, FUCK YOU. Money, money, money, fuck you, more money.
Games aren't fun anymore. games are stupidly expensive, multiplayer sucks and not friendly, gamers kill for games.
There is something seriously wrong with the way the game industry has gone. It went from a group of awesome people, gamers, it in for the game to money making and stealing from gamers anyway possible and lying.

Proof, $ony has no backwards compatibility. If they were really for the players then we would now, currently have BC for the PS5 and it would be ALL BC, playable from disc or download for PS1,2,3,4. What do we have? 90% BC for PS4, thats it.
The PS1,2,3 BC we have is PAID. Its the exact same game you already own on disc but if you want to play it on anything newer than the original console you have to buy it AGAIN!
Then there are the REMAKES. No originality, just make the old game work on the new console and pay 1000x the price for it.
Example, just about any PS2 game they have remade. Go get the original disc version. it'll most likely cost you $2 from the game shop.
To play that game on the PS5 you have no choice but buy it from the PSN store and it'll cost you $30.
Whats the difference in the game?
The new version works on the PS5.
Is the game changed, enhanced, fixed at all? No. Nothing changed, just the executable to run the game is now a PS5 executable. Thats all. Same graphics, same controls, SAME BUGS!!! NOTHING FIXED!

I wont go on about real life but its just as bad. The main thing is everything comes down to money. "Money is the route of all evil" and thats perfect for today.
Evil is running the world, it all comes down to money. You need it, they want it. They have the money and they want more so they steal it from you but make it look legal.
Lets get a new game console, it costs $50 to make. Lets charge $800 for it.
Lets get the XboxOneS, remove the bluray drive which makes it a awesome console, lets paint it black, put in a SSD drive, and call it Xbox Series S, the stupid will think its faster but its just the drive making things quick. As this one is black its new and better. Its got a 1TB drive in it so what does that cost extra? $10... ok, lets charge $200 extra for the black and bigger drive.
Ok, I've shit on M$ and $ony. NintenDOH! turn.
Lets get the hardware from 10 years ago, as now we can make it smaller lets put it in a handheld and get the cheapest parts, we know they are faulty but they are really cheap. We'll add a gimmick and the morons will buy it.
We will kill off the previous console quickly so it doesn't make this piece of shit look so bad.
If you didn't realise, the WiiU was 1080P for every game. The Switch is 540p to 720p. So the previous generation was actually better.
The Switch is jumpy and looks crap. The WiiU looks great and smooth all the time.

I own all the consoles so I know exactly how they work and what they are like so I have a good knowledge of the bugs and features.
I'm a computer technician by trade. I was heavily into console modding in the Xbox360/PS3 days, Best I did was modded someones PSP while they ordered McDonalds. They came back to the table and it had a fully working CFW. They didn't believe it was done so quick. (BTW, I did it for free. I'm a propper gamer. I share, everything is free from me)
