Far Cry 5 for PS4 and Xbox One updated to run at 60 FPS - patch

Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Montreal have released an update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Far Cry 5, which enables the game to run at 60 frames per second when played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
Additionally, Xbox Series users will be able to play Far Cry 5 at an enhanced resolution. Xbox Series X is capable of running the game at 4K resolution, while Xbox Series S will run it at 1080p resolution.
Since this is not a native PlayStation 5 re-release of Far Cry 5, the PlayStation 4 version will still run at 1620p when played on PlayStation 5.
Far Cry 5 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Luna. It is also available via PlayStation Plus Extra and Xbox Game Pass.
