- Post a comment / read (1) As part of IGN Fan Fest 2023, The Expanse: A Telltale Series got a new gameplay trailer, and it shows off more of the game than we've ever seen, with various clips of spaceship exploration, zero-G traversal, and different types of story choices.
The game will allow the player to interact with the different objects throughout the ship (mostly corpses in this trailer), and, as previously revealed, it will have zero-G sections where the player will be able to move freely through space. It's currently unclear just how open and free the game will be with its exploration, but it's certainly a noteworthy feature.
The Expanse will have its puzzles and choices as well though, as is Telltale's Staple. The trailer shows at one point a 3x3 square that the player has to some way solve to access a new area. It also shows off a classic lose-lose Telltale choice, where protagonist Camina Drummer has to decide between letting a fellow scavenger die or forego a vault filled with oxygen and fuel, which her crew needs.
The Expanse: A Telltale Series is set to launch in Summer 2023. |
