  • Killspiracy TV - Beta Download - Killspiracy TV is a quirky cartoony FPS that draws inspiration from Doom and Zombies Ate My Neighbors as you blast monsters and rescue cultists from randomly generated levels. In Killspiracy TV you are a mysterious stranger who has stumbled into the strange world of Killspiracy. You must now fight your way through four levels (with a possible eight different themes) where you need to rescue TV-headed cultists and blast bizarre creatures, including zombies, fish-headed assassins and sentient space-boogers!
  • Quake Champions celebrates the series' 25th anniversary with a retro Quake 1 map - As the old summer adage goes, "sun’s out, guns out" - and there’ll be plenty of weapons-in-hand in the Arena! (Hopefully yours pointed at the enemy, and not vice-versa.) We’re celebrating 25 years of Quake in this update, so get ready for a rocket blast from the past with a retro map, classic weapon skins, and lots more - including new anti-cheat measures to keep the fighting fair! Quake 2 RTX is pretty cool. Would look even better in a fully remade game!
  • Train Yard Builder - Announcement trailer - I've missed this announcement trailer somehow. Let your childhood dreams come true and become a full-time train models collector!
  • Grand Theft Auto 5 Modded To Support AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution - AMD released FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) on June 22nd with support for just 7 games with support for a further 12 games coming soon. The FidelityFX Super Resolution technology is now available in Grand Theft Auto 5 via a mod created by NarutoUA. The mod replaces the game's internal upscaler which means that FSR profiles can be selected by changing the Frame Scaling Mode found in Advanced Graphics Settings. AMD has promised to make the FSR technology open-source however this is yet to have happened so the modder used a precompiled DLL from a game with native FSR support. You can find a comparison video showing the mod here. The source code for the mod has been uploaded to GitHub where it can be reviewed and manually compiled.
  • Intel Books Two 3 nm Processor Orders at TSMC Manufacturing Facilities - Intel's struggles with semiconductor manufacturing have been known for a very long time. Starting from its 10 nm design IP to the latest 7 nm delays, we have seen the company struggle to deliver its semiconductor nodes on time. On the other hand, Intel's competing companies are using 3rd party foundries to manufacture their designs and not worry about the yields of semiconductor nodes. Most of the time, that 3rd party company is Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). Today, thanks to some reporting from Nikkei Asia, we are learning that Intel is tapping TSMC's capacities to manufacture some of the company's future processors. Citing sources familiar with the matter, Nikkei notes that: "Intel, America's biggest chipmaker, is working with TSMC on at least two 3-nm projects to design central processing units for notebooks and data center servers in an attempt to regain market share it has lost to Advanced Micro Devices and Nvidia over the past few years. Mass production of these chips is expected to begin by the end of 2022 at the earliest." This means that we could expect to see some of the TSMC manufactured Intel processors by the year 2023/2024.
  • Acer Laptop Firmware Update Offers Free Graphical Boost! - Although initially only impacting their gaming laptops featuring Nvidia graphics cards (and presumably 20XX-30XX series designs), Acer has confirmed that the firmware update will look to increase the GPUs TGP (effectively how much power it receives) by 5-30w depending on the model. Although not a colossally huge amount, this should still result in your gaming performance increased by a notable amount. In confirming the news, Acer has stated the following laptop models which have received this firmware update: Nitro 5, Helios 300, Triton 300, Triton 300 SE.  Although not currently applied to AMD graphics solutions, a further update is anticipated for those GPUs in the very near future.
  • Synology Officially Launches DSM 7.0 - Synology today released DSM 7.0, the latest version of the data management operating system that powers over eight million NAS/SAN solutions. The release comes after more than three years of redesigning and optimization work. DSM 7.0 includes numerous features focused on making the platform more flexible and capable, including integrating cloud-powered capabilities. Synology is simplifying routine IT tasks and giving system administrators more control, visibility, and powerful management features into their Synology servers. DSM 7.0 is available today for Synology J, Value, and Plus series devices. Updates for all product series will be rolled out in the upcoming months.
  • Apex Legends hackers interrupt games with messages about Titanfall hacking - Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale shooter Apex Legends has proven to be a hit, with over 100 million unique players, and counted over 300,000 people playing on Steam at one time in May. But an issue bubbling over from its earlier Titanfall games is now having an impact on Apex, as reports across social media show players running into messages from people hacking the game with a “Save Titanfall” message. Respawn acknowledged the issues on Twitter, saying “We are aware of and actively investigating issues impacting @PlayApex playlists that are preventing players from getting into matches.” In a follow-up tweet at 7PM, the developer said these attacks don’t put the personal information of players at risk, and that the team is testing a fix. As of 10:15PM, the developer appeared confident that problems for Apex Legends are resolved
  • Apps with 5.8 million Google Play downloads stole users’ Facebook passwords - Google has given the boot to nine Android apps downloaded more than 5.8 million times from the company's Play marketplace after researchers said these apps used a sneaky way to steal users' Facebook login credentials.
  • Huge ransomware attack hits hundreds of US businesses - A ransomware attack has hit hundreds of businesses across the US, in a supply chain attack that targets Kaseya's VSA system management platform (used for remote monitoring and IT management). While Kaseya claims less than 40 of over 36,000 customers were affected, the targeting of large managed service providers has led to vast numbers of clients further downstream being hit as a result.
  • Windows Print Spooler exploit called PrintNightmare - Microsoft releases a bunch of security updates for its software each month, but sometimes, bugs still slip through the cracks and are publicly reported. This has happened once again as the United States Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has highlighted a critical Windows Print Spooler vulnerability that Microsoft is actively investigating. The exploit is known as "PrintNightmare" in cybersecurity spheres and CISA has described it as critical as it can lead to remote code execution (RCE). The CERT Coordination Center is tracking it under VU#383432 and explains that the problem happens because the Windows Print Spooler service does not restrict access to the RpcAddPrinterDriverEx() function, which means that an attacker who has been remotely authenticated can utilize it to run arbitrary code. This arbitrary code execution takes place under the guise of SYSTEM. For reference, the problematic function in question is typically used to install printer drivers. However, since remote access is unrestricted, this means that a motivated attacker can make it point to a driver on a remote server, making an infected machine execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.  It is important to note that Microsoft fixed a related issue with CVE-2021-1675 in June's Patch Tuesday update, but the latest development is not covered by the fix. The company says that it is actively investigating the issue and has suggested two workarounds for Domain Admins. The first one is disabling the Windows Print Spooler service, but this means that printing will be disabled both locally and remotely. The second one involves disabling inbound remote printing through Group Policy. This will restrict remote printing but local printing will still work fine.

  • DON'T BREATHE 2 Trailer (2021) - Why do trailers these days reveal the entire plot of the movie? :-(
  • JOLT Trailer (2021) Kate Beckinsale - I'm definitely checking this out , looks good.

Books. As in "reserves".
Meaning, it's at some point in the future.
Even if they started today, they'd be late to the party.

Late for Windows 11, lol
MS is going to have to revise its CPU and mobo support list, haha.
They failed again.

This is a clickbait. Magnets are not actually used for charging!

A few emails came from a friend's email account, asking for store credit or money for a 'friend' for birthday.
It took two exchanges to determine that its actually a hacked account and that I am not talking to my friend.
Any idiot using Facebook, Google, Apple or whatever major platform deserves what's coming to them. They are the biggest targets.
