Watch Dogs: Legion has millions of procedurally-generated characters - preview/review
(hx) 11:59 AM CEST - Jul,14 2020 - Post a comment / read (3)
Get a first look at Watch Dogs: Legion gameplay. With an entire population of potential recruits and the city’s technology at your fingertips, you’ll need to hack, infiltrate, and fight your way to a liberated London. Learn more about the immersive scenario and how to take advantage of the Play As Anyone system. Watch Dogs: Legion will be available on 29th October 2020 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC and Stadia.

Each procedurally-generated character has a different set of abilities. Obviously, with so many playable NPCs, there is bound to be some cookie-cutter overlap in their profiles. Being selective to build a team with a wider variety of skills will probably be pretty important. Or perhaps one could go the route of just grabbing right off the street whomever best suits the next mission. After all, there are no limits to how many NPCs you can recruit. It will be interesting to see how critics and fans react to this new style of play when the game launches.

I watched it elsewhere, 2080Ti couldn't keep 60fps @1080p. So, if you are like me, and thought watchdogs 1 had the worst codding job in the history of AAA titles, you are in for a surprise

Maybe their minds were elsewhere.... I sent this to Hex but he never posted it. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2020/07/ubisofts-most-powerful-creative-force-resigns-in-wake-of-sweeping-allegations/
