Far Cry 5 is finally out, one of the most anticipated games of 2018 but surely there are so many things that Ubisoft has left big whopping loops. Far Cry 5 takes the series to America for the first time. The fictional Hope County in Montana is ruled by a religious cult called the Project at Eden’s Gate. The cult is ruled by Joseph Seed (the Father) and his siblings, all lunatics in their own right. For the first time, the entire game is playable in co-op after the opening mission. Only the host gets to keep story progress, though. Outside of the big single-player campaign, Far Cry 5 also brings back the map editor. It’s been greatly expanded with assets from other Ubisoft games and is now referred to as Far Cry Arcade. Far Cry 5 does not have loot boxes, but it does have a virtual currency you can spend on cosmetic items, and XP boosts.
The crew at Techspot has used the canned benchmark in Far Cry 5 to measure the performance of 50 different video cards. Testing was done at 1080p, 1440p, and 4k, as well as testing some older cards and VRAM usage.
