GSC has reassured fans via Twitter that development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 continues, though no release date is set. To answer the multitude of questions we've been getting, #Stalker2 is currently in development, yes. However there is no release date yet

There are legal reasons why we have not made an "official" statement. But Stalker 2 development continues
