The chaps over at VR-Zone has posted recommended system specs for Crysis 2 along with the minimum specs and highly recommended specs. * Minimum: 2GHz Core 2 Duo / A64 X2 CPU, 2GB RAM, 8800GT / HD3850, 512MB Video Memory, DX9.0c, Shader Model 3.0, Windows XP, 20fps @ 1024 x 768
* Recommended: 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo / A64 X2 CPU, 3GB RAM, GTX280 / HD4870, 1GB Video Memory, DX9.0, Shader Model 3.0/4.0, Windows XP, 30fps @ 1650 x 1080
* Highly Recommended: 3GHz Core i7 4GB RAM, GTX560Ti / HD4870 X2, 1.8GB Video Memory, DX11, Shader Model 3.0/4.0, Windows 7, 30fps @ 1920 x 1200

LOL @ Highly recommended specs and 30fps. Oh well better start the second mortgage. Oh wait, this is console shit so I'll save myself a wack of money and just play it on console.

The Beta even in the lowest settings DX9 runs over 80 fps on my 460 at 1920x1200 and looks incredible. Better than the 90% games out there. In the highest settings DX9 (the beta did not include DX10/11) I got around 50.

:lol: phahaha, 30fps with a PC for 1000$... this is awesome :lol: The fakin wankers just try to shift people to consoles. Well, for me personally its like that - spend money on console + tv or a new pc :lol: And the solution is simple - wont play this fakin game 8)

its likely capped at 30fps, which means its likely designed to run at 30fps, which means if your machine is good enough, it will be smooth, so i see no reason go in a hissy fit over a 30fps capped game.

Gameplay being crap sure, but Force Unleashed and its followup were both capped at 30fps and the games ran perfectly for me.

Its the problem with gamers now-a-days, they expect every single game to be the same, look good, run good, run with high framerates, take a long time to finish, have alot of gameplay...sorry but it doesn't work like that.

Fuck me, it would cost me 1,200 alone for the CPU and two graphic cards recommended in the highest specs. Let alone BUILDING the system from scratch -in other words, i don't do shop-bought vanilla PCs- if i WAS suffering from a head injury that is :lol:

30fps is shitty framerate, I can't stand it. 40+ needed for smooth experience as far as I am concerned. So, if there is going to be 30fps cap, I guess it's because of consoles. I certainly wouldn't be a happy panda playing this on ps3 in 30fps...
