GSC Game World just announced they are developing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. Wow! GSC Game World announces S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 - the official sequel to best-selling game series - in development now. A completely new multi-platform technology developed by GSC will make the core of the game.

"After the official sales of the series exceeded 4 million copies worldwide, we had no doubts left to start creating a new big game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. This will be the next chapter of the mega-popular game players expect from us" - said Sergiy Grygorovych, CEO of GSC Game World.

The game is scheduled for release in 2012.

Call of Pripyat was bug free, at least for me. I finished it without a single patch :D

Why do they even bother? Call of Pripyat was a piece of crap. I think the graphics actually got worse. Looked more like a cut down of the original game. So many places there was horrible use of textures, I thought they did it to increase performance. I didn't have problems with the expansion either however that's not saying much.

that first section in swamp is crap. Others are fine and look really good. Overall feeling of moving/shooting doing things is a lot better in CoP than in previous STALKER games. This came as a supprise to me since CoP was the first stalker I played from start to end, other two I just dumped somewhere half way trough.

how the hell does this game series get a sequel? the game has sucked from the first game.
