Official BioShock 2 PC widescreen bug fix - patch

2K Games has released a new PC patch for their port of the first person shooter - Bioshock 2. The update fixes the sequel's annoying widescreen issue - which, like the first game's identical problem, crops a 4:3 image rather than actually offering 16:9 - and also addresses mouse click problems in multiplayer. The patch is available as an automatic download via Games For Windows Live. This is not the end of patches for the PC game. The site states, "We are working on a larger, more extensive patch now . . ." which should be released in the near future.
 * Fixed an issue where 16:9 and 16:10 resolutions were letterboxed versions of 4:3 resolutions, thereby properly fixing the FOV by expanding the horizontal player view as intended.
 * Fixed an issue where holding the M1 button would not register in Multiplayer gameplay

well, too bad for them. Gameplay is far worse than Bioshock 1, Big daddy is as strong as any splicer, except if you fight other big daddy, then you are weak as any other splicer. Atmosphere in game is not even close to original, add no-AA support in DX10 mode, no widescreen in initial release and you have me returning the game to the store...Toddles bioshock!
