  • AMD Reveals More Llano Details: 32nm, Power Gating, 4-cores - Llano is AMD's first hybrid CPU-GPU with on-die graphics. The graphics core is a derivative of AMD's DirectX 11 Evergreen lineup. At 32nm each core (minus L2 cache) is only 9.69 mm^2 and is made up of over 35M transistors.
  • Intel unleashes quad-core Itanium 9300 - Tukwila features four cores, eight threads, 24MB of L3 cache, Turbo Boost, QuickPath interconnects, second-gen hardware virtualization tech, and some new reliability features, all laid out on a massive, two-billion-transistor die. Intel claims the new Itanium 9300 series more than doubles performance over previous-gen dual-core Itaniums, bringing eight times the interconnect bandwidth, five times the memory bandwidth, and seven times the memory capacity with "industry standard DDR3 components."
  • Intel Core i5 661 Dual Core LGA 1156 Processor Tested - The Intel Core i5 661 has plenty of power for doing those day to day tasks and maybe not so day to day like Photoshop, video editing, etc. Overclock it, which is very easy, and you will get a good performance boost to make those tasks run even faster. I've been assur
  • Nvidia Geforce GTX 480 to be showcased at Cebit 2010? - According to Fudzilla, selected Nvidia partners will unveil Nvidia's next-generation GF100 based flagship, the Geforce GTX 480 at Cebit, which runs from March 2nd to March 6th. A cheaper, cut down GF100 based GPU, the Geforce GTX 470, is scheduled to be launched alongwith the Geforce GTX 480. Details about the GTX 470 are sparse, though consensus rumours suggest 448 shaders and 320 bit memory, crippled from GTX 480's 512 shaders and 384 bit memory interface.
  • New Lian Li T1 'Spider' Discovery - David Attentionbagger (video) - Lian Li Chassis are rare and endangered, and very valuable indeed. None more so than this flirtatious creature captured on film for the first time-- in its unnatural habitat. The Lian Li Pitstop spider which brings aluminium (aluminum for Yanks) to life, except for the few threads of spider webbing (which look a bit like nylon puppet strings, but are in fact strands of web spun from out its sphincter). The Lian Li T1 Pitstop is a chassis designed for a few users, but all of them are nitromanics who delve into the depths of BIOS's and extract every ounce of power from them.
  • Windows 7 Battery Notification Messages - More Details -Steven Sinofsky made an extensive blog post explaining all the talk about Windows 7 so-called battery problems.
  • Maximize SSD Performance with the SSD Tweak Utility - TechSpot posted their tech tip of the Week: Maximize SSD Performance with the SSD Tweak Utility.
  • Oracle database can be hacked remotely: researcher - A computer security expert believes that nine in every ten Oracle databases are vulnerable to an attack that would give hackers access and control over sensitive corporate and government database systems, without the need for a user id or password.
  • Locus OS Interface (video) - The operating system was designed by a guy named Barton Smith and supposedly the multiple widget desktops are designed around locations (home, work, car) and automatically switches between desktops thanks to GPS and wi-fi mapping.
  • Both LG and Samsung to release their first 3D TVs next month - Both LG and Samsung are said to release their 3D TVs next month. Samsung will offer the LED 9000, a LED-LCD with a powerful 3D processor. LG's 3D TV is also a LED-LCD, in sizes 32" to 55" (the Infinia LE9500).

"Windows 7 so-called battery problems"

Winshi7e is waste of battery/power altogether, it wastes more cpu cycles doing the less shit than XP did in less cpu cycles and without all shit changes like the fucked up useless explorer shell vis7a has! poorly designed developed Microsuck-ware junk targeted at noobs who don't know any better than just to get better shell extensions and addons for XP, that make the built in crap in Win7 look exactly like what it is.. Moronic again. What is your point on this site? just to act like a complete moron all the time and leave everyone to laugh at your stupidity. Cut down on the drugs and go see a shrink.

Lian Li, alumnium for maximum heat dissipation. A hard core system builders dream case. I had 2 and they were fucking fantastic. I wish I could take my old case and whip it across your head. ROFLMAO! but I'd probably wreck my case on your concrete skull.

Just because you can't run Win7 on your 286 machine is no reason to be a moron. Like I said, go see your Daddy and ask him to buy you a recent PC and then maybe you can finally dislodge that thumb from your ass and start thinking properly again.

Yes, Windows 7 is very clever, it makes your 70 Watt cpu consume less power, and it will make your 220 Watt Graphics card handle that shit.
