Vampire: The Masquerade on GoG.com - briefly
(hx) 09:51 PM CET - Feb,04 2010 - Post a comment
DRM-free GoG.com have added Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption to their line-up. Also added to the game's library is Dark Fall 2: Lights Out, a 2004 mystery adventure from XXy Productions. Both games can be bought and downloaded for $5.99 each.
Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption is a role-playing game closely based upon the acclaimed pen-and-paper RPG system Vampire: The Masquerade. It tells the story of a French crusader, Christof Romuald, whose perilous quest will see him traveling across the world in both the Dark Ages and modern times. You can choose between a path of good or evil and the choices you make throughout the game will determine which of the many endings will come to fruition. Last but not least it offers a multiplayer narrative mode, which essentially allows you to play an RPG session on-line, with one of the players being the GM.

Dark Fall 2: Lights Out, also known simply as Dark Fall II or just Lights Out, is a point-and click horror-adventure game. Much like the older titles from the Myst series, you control the game by clicking specific areas of the pre-rendered scenery. You take the role of Benjamin Parker, a cartographer hired to map the dangerous shores of a small English town. Surprisingly, there already is a lighthouse on a small island near the town, so why would anyone want to hire a cartographer? It soon becomes apparent that something strange is happening within the lighthouse, so you set out to investigate, before its keepers or anyone else gets hurt...
