After planting an explosive charge on a refueling system, you infiltrate into the hanger where the satellite is located. While Soap deals with the satellite, you go upstairs to retrieve the data on a computer located in an office. That's when everything goes pear shaped, as the Russians surround the building and call for you to surrender. Soap is already standing in front of the Russians, his arms up in the air. He tells you go to Plan B, which involves triggering a detonator that sends that blows up the explosive charge and the fuel, creating a big explosion that makes startles the Russians. Everything goes into slow motion for a few seconds, you and Soap whip out your rifles, and the fight is on.

You're supposed to fight your way out of the Russian base, and to reinforce that idea there's a BMP (a Russian armored personnel carrier with a big cannon) lurking on the edge of the firefight. Soap and you trade places providing cover fire while one of you advances. Then, suddenly, Russians on snowmobiles appear. To show that these demos can sometimes go awry, the snowmobiles ran over Roach during the battle, killing him and making everyone laugh. The guy running the demonstration had to reload back to the previous checkpoint and try again; this time around he made sure to kill the snowmobile operators as quickly as possible.

Next you and Soap hit a gap in the fence and slide down a snow-covered hillside. Upon reaching the bottom twist around and shoot the Russians standing the hill, and then keep running. More snowmobiles appear and Soap does an awesome knife move that kills one of the snowmobilers. Once you and Soap can "liberate" a couple of snowmobiles you each jump on one and start hauling. More snowmobiles appear, as well as a Hind helicopter gunship. You can shoot with a gun in one hand while you steer, and this entire sequence caused quite a few in the audience to guffaw during some crazy intense moments.
