The official announcement has gone up at the QuakeCon site that event to end all events will be held this year on July 31 running until August 3, 2008 in Dallas, TX at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. Registration for the free event's Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) area opens at 9PM ET on Wednesday, April 30 over at www.quakecon.org. Those interested in obtaining centrally located hotel rooms can now register at the Hilton Anatole's custom QuakeCon reservation page, which offers the lower-than-normal rate of $137 a day.
