Here're three new images of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, the official prequel to the Survival FPS game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. The game is currently slated for simultaneous release on Steam and at retail outlets later this year. In Stalker related news, Oblivion-lost.de reports that there's new version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Weather Overhauled, a mod which drastically improves the weather effects and the whole day/night cycle with mindblowing visuals. The version 2.0 contains a recut version of Sharper Texture Pack v0.95 and is split into two volumes (#1, #2) for rapidshare friendliness.

GSC also announced that Clear Sky has a publisher now -- Koch Media (the ones who published Gothic 3).
