BioShock Sequel to be a Prequel? - briefly

The sequel to BioShock is rumored to tell the events that lead to the fall of Rapture, the fictional underwater dystopian city featured in the first game. According to internet murmurings, a BioShock follow-up is currently in pre-production and set for a 2009 release, backing up Take-Two's previous comments that the title could develop into a franchise that sees a new release every two years. Graphic design and plot are reportedly 2K's primary focuses at the moment, and the story will likely be set before the events that took place in the original game, telling of how Rapture, a 1940s underwater utopian society, fell prey to greed and vice.

Oh great..by the time it's out in 2years i will have forgot what Bioshock was about in the first place :lol: Shouldn't this have been thought out the other way around? Like pre-bioshock, then 2 years time, post-Bioshock that we have today?
We essentialy know about the essence and the mad-ass doctor, infected/addicted inhabitants etc, the story pretty much told us what happened in Bioshock.
Sounds pretty boring to me.
