Here's a TV spot for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward's soon-to-be-available (Nov11) military shooter sequel. Enjoy!

GameTrailers is also hosting an interesting interview with one of the guys from Infinity Ward regarding Call of Duty 4. Perhaps one of the best, most sincere interviews about a video game I've ever seen:

ummm...that interview was the standard marketing ploy...he even said some stuff that most people didn't catch like 'not mandatory hours' what that means in the game developing business is "your not required to come in, but your fired if you don't, also we aren't paying you for overtime". Its a hard business to be in, most people don't appreciate how much game devs sacrifice when they could easily get better jobs with their talents.

Well said genoism, been in that kind of employment myself. Worked butt off and boss says 'Well done, you can go home early if you want, but you wont be paid for the hours you didn't do if you decide to go home'.

Got to show your dedication to the company and sod your own life and family values in the mean time.

Yeah guys, I found his garbage hard to swallow as he was ranting on. I'm sure their employees cared more about the game than their families and desperately wanted it to be awesome.

Also the part about how "now modders don't have to do that anymore" = We took the best ideas from the mod community, put it in our game and are now profiting as a result.

1: Google mods for earlier game.
2: ???
3: Profit!
