- Art of Murder: FBI Confidential Announced -
City Interactive
announces Art of Murder: FBI Confidential, a point-and-click adventure due
by the end of the year. The player takes on the role of an FBI agent, whose
task is to solve a series of macabre murders of wealthy, well-to-do
citizens. The victims are killed with an unknown device, and the murderer
removes their hearts afterwards. The adventure begins in New York, but the
clues will lead the player to, among others, the Peruvian city of Cusco –
the ancient capitol of the Inca empire, and the verge of the Amazon jungle.

playable demo for Global Conflicts: Palestine, a game where you play as
a a freelance journalist who has just arrived in Jerusalem armed with a pen
and a notepad.
- Attack on Pearl Harbor Gold -
The game, which
drops players into the cockpits of some of the most popular aircraft of
WWII and into the most famous battles of the war, is set to ship to North
American retail during the first week of August.
- Saga Beta Opens - Wahoo Studios and Silverlode Interactive
informed us
they have launched open beta testing of Saga, the upcoming
subscription-free MMORTS game
- Instinct Dated - Wild Hare Entertainment confirmed August as the
release window for
Instinct, their upcoming first-person shooter.
- Postal III Update - The new issue of Postal Nation, the online
newsletter from Running With Scissors, has a bit on their next effort at
getting under Jack Thompson's thin skin, as there is a brief mention of
their pork on a third postal game.
- Torque X Released - GarageGames announces the release of
Torque X, described as "a completely new engine designed from the bottom
up to harness the power of XNA. It is written entirely in C# and includes
many of the best features of other Torque Technologies."
- GTA IV Voice Actress Details -
A
woman named Ruslana will be voice acting in GTA IV. Also, songs from her
previous albums and from the new album will be used as soundtracks for the
game.
- Unconfirmed: Microsoft Banning Xbox 360s for Life? - While we've
heard colloquial accounts of modded boxes getting banned, we've never heard
of problems with refurbished models.
If the story is true, it essentially nullifies the Xbox 360 resale market.
The risk is too great for consumers to purchase Xbox 360s that may not work
on Live, even though the reseller did give this customer a refund. I'll give
you an update when I will find official statement from Microsoft..

- PS3 $499 on July 12? - Although Sony has yet to confirm a price
drop officially,
GameDaily BIZ has received confirmation from the retail sector that the
PS3 will be dropped to $499 next week
- Nintendo DS Lite Camera Coming? -
According to Gamezone, Nintendo will be releasing a game in Japan titled
"Otona No DS Kao Training." The game is remarkable in that is is bundled
with a camera for the DS. The unit supposedly plugs into the GBA slot, and
dispalys real time video.
