- Core 2 Duo E6420, E6320 & E4400 Plus Another 15 Sub-$200 Dual-Core -
Since Core based processors used to sell for at least $200, they
couldn't enjoy vast popularity among budget and low-end mainstream users.
However, this
situation will very soon change. Especially, since their performance level
will allow them to compete successfully against other inexpensive
dual-core processors, such as AMD Athlon 64 X2 and Intel Pentium D.

It combines a
dedicated GPU or GPU accelerator onto the same package or even the same
silicon die as the main CPU.

will see the arrival of

top-of-the-line Nvidia GeForce 8 series GPU, the 8800 Ultra, along with
a host of lesser products, it has been claimed. The 8800 Ultra's speeds and
feeds aren't yet known, but it will represent an 'overclocked 8800 GTX'.

Factory
pre-overclocked graphics cards aren't for everyone due to the extra
price that they carry and the fact that it isn't difficult to overclock if
you happen to find the magic card that overclocks through the roof.

Fujitsu Makes 32GB SSD a $1,300 USD Option on Two
Ultra-portables -
SSDs promise faster transfer rates, lower access times, silent operation
and increased battery life. The numerous pluses are counterbalanced,
however, by the relatively high cost of SSDs. In the case of the two Fujitsu
ultra-portables (which will use SSDs made by Samsung), the 16GB and 32GB SSD
options will represent $650 USD and $1,300 USD options respectively.

The alpha
download of Apollo will run on Windows and Macintosh. It will allow
people to use HTML, JavaScript and Flash programming and display Adobe's PDF
format.
