(hx) 12:45 PM EST - Mar,07 2007 - Post a comment / read (2)
Frictional Games has released a playable demo for Penumbra: Overture, allowing you to try out their upcoming  episodic horror game. Word is: "The first episode takes place in an underground facility on Greenland where the player finds himself alone, confused and with no way to get out. Something is wrong where is everyone, and what are those strange noises?" The 125 MB demo can be found on CGO.ro, GH and SI. The episode one is scheduled for March 30th.

Update: (Mar 8th) A new demo for episode one of Penumbra Overture addresses a bug in the original demo that could cause a crash. The updated sample of Frictional Games' upcoming episodic horror game is available on 3D Downloads, FanGaming, and FileFront.

Yes i too thoroughly enjoyed the demo.

However, it's just the: quote:
Penumbra: Overture is not a traditional game. The series is being released episodically,
beginning with the title you have just purchased, and this puts you, the player, in an exciting,
and unique position. We take player feedback very seriously at Frictional Games, and your
contribution could help shape the episodes to come. Please visit:

How many episodes will they release and will they actualy finish it and not dump it!?

Is my worry...
