Publisher 505 Games sent out a press release announcing that additional content that will be present in the European edition of ArmA: Armed Assault (demo) when Bohemia Interactive's military shooter is released (PC-DVD) on the continent on February 16. FYI, Czech version of Armed Assault, published by Cenega, uses Starforce; however the German and this new EU release does not. ArmA: Armed Assault will feature additional content not present in the German and Eastern European versions already on sale. This exclusive content includes a raft of new weapons, two new aircraft and two motorbikes, as well as an exclusive new open-ended mission. 505 Games is also pleased to announce that SecuROM copy protection has been perfectly implemented and integrated into ArmA, with zero slow down or adverse performance effects.

To further bolster the appeal and playability of this unique war simulation, the game’s developer - Bohemia Interactive - will release a new game patch for the German and Eastern European versions before the end of February. The patch ensures an internationally unified playing environment for all users.

Me want - me gets it cracked as me don't like Securom - bloody aweful it works! Seriously though, Securom which is infests NWN2, did make it almost unplayable regardless of the amount of bugs because of slowdowns, the refusing-to-start syndrom and overall buggyness with every patch. Bleh!

I've played the MP demo SP and it's good. Basicaly OFP with a DX9 overcoat if you will. But then there wasn't that much wrong with OFP SP and it's basicaly a 'tide over' untill the newest stuff from BI comes out -eventualy. Mod makers will have a field day as usual :) I've pre-ordered and looking forward to it.
