Codemasters has released a batch of images from DIRT: Colin McRae Off-Road (Colin McRae: DIRT in PAL territories), the next installment in the Colin McRae series. The game due on the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2007, and here's some info:

Coming 2007 for the PS3, the Xbox 360 and PC, Colin McRae: DIRT is the first game being created using Codemasters Studios' proprietary engine, Neon. Neon is a growling powerhouse of a game engine that will drive the next-generation of the series' impeccable car handling, incredibly detailed vehicles and fantastic living environments.

Neon will ensure that DIRT's exhilarating mix of off-road race events will be compounded into one adrenaline rush of a video game with playability that's true to the Colin McRae series.

With more than 40 officially licensed vehicles covering 12 car class categories, fans of the McRae series will get their fix of throwing official 2WD, 4WD, Classic and RWD cars, including Colin McRae's prototype R4 and Travis Pastrana's X Games-winning Subaru Impreza, around the most challenging and treacherous rally stages around the world.

You guys all know how harsh I am on bad racing games. This is looking excellent though I must say. I'm really suprised by how good the cars look. As ever lets hope they don't cut them down more before final release and that the physics model is of a good quality.

the irony is that there is almost no DIRT on those cars mphh ! (i mean, mphing, not miles per hour)

Celestial Impact - Celestial Impact (free) is a team based multiplayer first person shooter (FPS) set in space on an asteroid with spherical gravity. What makes this FPS really special is that the landscape is fully deformable in all directions. Each player is equipped with, apart from a commonly seen weapon arsenal, a special tool called Dirtgun. With the Dirtgun, players can add or remove terrain during combat as they see fit, simply by aiming and firing the dirtgun.
