Dark Messiah of Might & Magic patch v1.1 - patch

Ubi Soft Entertainment has released the first patch (local mirror) for Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, bringing the international and German editions of this first-person fantasy action RPG by Arkane Studios to version 1.1. This patch applies a large number of crash repairs, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes and other single-player changes as outlined in the included release notes. The 21.6MB patch can be found on 3DGamers, FileFront and WP.

I already finished the game twice going once as a fighter and then mage.. No real interest to do it for a 3rd time... as usual the patches come when interest is already gone. It's NWN2 from here on!!!

Ironicly I need the patches for both MM and NWN2 to acctually play and finish both since MM CTD's on my computer at waypoints and NWN2 runs better on beta drivers on a pre-release version of Vista. Bah!

Both play awesome for me. MM both single player and MP, amazing fps. Only slowdown I ever encountered was after getting off the boat. From the time it took me to complete the ruins, my fps for whatever reason was around 20fps... the rest of the game it was silk smooth. Great game, but too short..way too short.

NWN2... just loving it. Though I have read many have problems with it, after I turned shadows to medium, I haven't had a single problem. Becoming one of my most favorite RPG's!

I'm however still plauged by the same shark that prevents me from playing the last level of DM, even after the patch!

NWN2 - the little I was able to play (the box is sitting there, luring me... ) was initially a dissapointment, but after I left West Harbour everything went Baldurs Gate on and I was in love. Will try and get myself to play it this weekend, despite the performance.

Fear my tielfing wizard bandits and other...things...!
