BF 2142 Demo Coming Next Week - media

EA has released
a new Battlefield 2142 movie, serving as a tutorial to the game's Titan
Mode. This was accompanied by a note saying this tutorial will come in
handy for the release of the BF 2142 demo next week, adding that details on the
demo release are forthcoming. Battlefield 2142 will be in stores October 17,
however, EA's
Australian website BF2142 (the dynamic countdown on the left of the page)
announces the launch in 10 days. Which is strange as everywhere else suggests
the launch is around October 17th.
In other news,
Electronic Arts' UK website has announced plans to release a special
Collector's Edition. In addition to the game it will contain a separate
soundtrack, a behind-the-scenes video and a 24 hour head start on the upcoming
demo of the game. What's unusual is that the Collector's Edition will only be
released via the EA Downloader online distribution system and not in retail
stores. |
