As promised, Sierra has released Combat version of F.E.A.R. (local US mirror ~ 1.8GB), the full free multiplayer component of this sci-fi first-person shooter by Monolith Productions. The super-massive 1.8GB download includes 19 multiplayer maps playable in 10 game modes with a dozen different weapons. It also requires generating a free registration key at the FEAR Combat website to install.

F.E.A.R. Combat features:
- 10 multiplayer game modes.
- 19 multiplayer maps.
- 12 different weapons.
- Punkbuster support for anti-cheat support.
- The capability to download user generated content.

Another mirrors: 3D Gamers, Aus Gamers, FileCloud, FilePlanet, Fragland, FileShack, GameArena, Sierra and WP.

Played fear which was good & played it online which i wasnt a big fan blam blam and i died ! but i didnt give it much of a chance, if you havent played fear id suggest you try it.

I'm a freaking pussy when it comes to playing scary games. I stopped playing undying when I used that gem on that painting that turned to all those demon dogs guarding the daughter. I just said fuck it and stopped playing.

Same with fear. About half way through the first couple levels... after I got hit over the head with the plank of wood and i started seeing things... it just got too freaky for me.

I’m just wondering if there are any moments that scare the living shit out of you?

Well, if there isnt a big bug in the MP then you really don't have to worry about ghosts and demons appearing out of nowhere. When I get home tonight, im going to download MP and try it out. Played on lan, it was awsome to run around with two handguns.
