Word about EA's latest game in the Need for Speed series, Need for Speed Carbon has been wandering around for a few days now. This evening, EA have finally released some screenshots from the upcoming game, along with a teaser 34MB video.
What starts in the city is settled in the canyons as Need for Speed Carbon immerses you into the world's most dangerous and adrenaline-filled form of street racing. You and your crew must race in an all-out war for the city, risking everything to take over your rivals' neighbourhoods one block at a time.

As the police turn up the heat, the battle ultimately shifts to Carbon Canyon, where territories and reputations can be lost on every perilous curve. Need for Speed Carbon delivers the next generation of customization giving you the power to design and tweak your crew's cars in every way using the ground-breaking new Autosculpt technology. Represent your car class, your crew, and your turf in Need for Speed Carbon, the next revolution in racing games.
Need for Speed Carbon will be released this November on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, DS, Game Boy Advance, PSP, PC, and mobile phones.

agree.. MW was ok but nothing amazing, compared to console racing, NFS racing looks sad and EA looks to me like they lost the touch on the NFS series. I liked the more enhanced and older system of upgrading and customizing. I don't like the cut down boring system. This video shows nothing but 2 cars cornering.. woooo. I doubt I will buy Carbon, it doesn't really interest me particularly. I'd imagine the console will look way better anyhow. I'll be playing Prey...

All this is is MW with a slightly changed plot. Who cares honestly. The graphics are not innovative to me in the slightest and I was never foaming at the mouth with MW. This is again is EA milking NFS for whatever they can get without putting much effort into it. Nice looking cars is not enough for me, I was realistic and non pixellated low res crap environment like NFS has. Blurring the environment doesn't do anything for me. MW was a blurry overuse of HDR I have ever seen. All to cover up your cheap ass surroundings. I always liked Midnight Club series better anyhow. A shame they didn't port it to PC.
