New In-game Crysis footage - movie
(hx) 12:16 AM CEST - Jun,18 2006 - Post a comment / read (6)
Here's 14 minutes long video (local US mirror ~ 114.7MB WMV) from the upcoming first person shooter Crysis. The video includes extensive in-game footage and suggests that we can expect a lot of things from Crytek's new game engine. It looks like I'm going to upgrade in about a year and spend several thousands dollars :]

yah, what kind of beast of a machine will we need to play this game?

nVidia's G80 scares me in that it doesn't fully implement all the DX10 crap. ATI has the lid sealed tight on the R600 so who knows if that supports everything.

What a good looking game though. Hope they're polishing it up real nice right now.

I'm wondering if that is just annother marketing trick by nVidia; it's better to sell 2 "generations" of GPUs, thinks nVidia, especially when the features in questions are the ones that Vista imposes pretty much mandatory for a n3x7-g3n 0p3r471n6 $1$73m!

They must have used RL topographic data to recreate this.

Yes must say this is extremely impressive. I'm just wondering what kind of system he has seeing how he had ZERO video lag... I find that a little odd for a game with such nice gfx.
