Atari has released a playable demo (local US mirror ~ 309MB) for Crashday, allowing you to try out this new combat stunt action racing game by Moon Byte Studios. The demo includes a Wrecking Match event, a Stunt Show event, and multiplayer on LAN and Internet. According to 3DGamers, the demo is restricted to only 50 demo launches.

Jury is still out. Played it but found the rocket/gun section frustrating. Seemed i only took about 2 hits and i was toast! Driving the truck as well??? Seems to be made of glass... Still will wait to see if they tweak this before final. It's been compaired to Carmageddon, but it's NO Carmageddon at all!, Besides the peds were brilliant 8) Maybe an Interstate '76 wannabe but that's all.

I thought this was pretty good. Overall seems very polished and good driving feel unlike so many other similar games. I think this finally takes over where 1NSANE left off :D
