- Prince of Persia: the Two Thrones movie - Ubi Soft has released
a new movie trailer for Prince of Persia: the Two Thrones, yet again
illustrating their imminent third-person action adventure sequel.
- Age of Conan - Hyborian Adventures movie -Funcom has released
a new movie trailer for Age of Conan - Hyborian Adventures, showing more
of the upcoming single- and multiplayer action role-playing game.
- Battle For Middle Earth 2 Blog Update - The official Battle for
Middle-earth II website has
a new blog update by producer Mike Verdu.
- Titan Quest Video Interview - Gamespot has
a new video-interview with Michael Fitch. In related news, IGN has

an article updating their impressions.
- Battle of Britain 2: Wings of Victory Patch v2.03 -
The update includes various bug-fixes, tweaks, and changes to accommodate
modifications.
- Wildlife Tycoon: Venture Africa demo v1.01 -
This v1.01 update makes all options accessible from in-game along with
adding a few gameplay tweaks. This is a trial version that allows you to try
the game for up to 60 minutes with full game content.
- Hearts of Iron II Patch v1.3a - Paradox Interactive has released
a new patch for Hearts of Iron II, updating the World War II strategy game
to version 1.3a.
- Direct2Drive To Publish King Kong Hi-Res Edition - King Kong is set
to be released on Tuesday in the shops,
but also online via Direct2Drive, IGN's digital distribution service. This
so-called High-Res Edition features massively more detailed textures,
extensive use of Pixel Shader 3.0 and Vertex Shader 3.0, and EAX 3.0 sound
available only through a DirectX 9.0C sound card, and to give you an idea of
just how enhanced the game is, here are the minimum required specs for the
game to just run: Pentium IV 3.0 GHz or AMD 3000+ or better, 2GB RAM, ATI
X1800, NVIDIA 6800, or better.

- Quake IV Xbox 360 In Stores - Activision sent us a press release
announcing that Quake IV
for the Xbox 360 is now in stores.
- Neocron 2 - Free Evolution Test Run Campaign - In light of the
major changes the Neocron Evolution 2.1 upgrade offers,
all canceled Neocron 2
accounts will receive 14 days of free playing time to check out the
upgrade. Starting December 1, 2005, the release date of the upgrade, all
former Neocron 2 players will have 14 days to take a look at the improvements
like the graphical updates, the new weapons, the engine improvements and the
new content!
- Final Fantasy XI For Xbox 360 To Be Demoed At Zero Hour - Square
Enix announced today that the Xbox 360 version of their MMORPG Final Fantasy
XI will be demoed at Zero Hour, the launch event for Microsoft's next-gen game
console that
will be
held starting Sunday night in the "undisclosed" location in the desert of
California.

- Blizzard Being Sued by Parents for WoW Addiction - A thirteen
year-old Chinese boy jumped to his death last year from a 24 story building,
allegedly after playing too much World of Warcraft.
The
parents of the boy are now suing game maker Blizzard with the help of
lawyer and "internet game addiction researcher." The legal team also plans on
filing class action suits against "the whole game industry on behalf of other
parents."
- German Legislation Seeks to Ban Violent Games - According to German
media reports, language introduced into a proposed revision to
Germany's child protection laws targets violent video games in specific,
and would place a ban on any game that depicted lethal violence.
- Amazon offer for Sony CD buyers -
Amazon is offering refunds to customers who bought Sony BMG CDs that use
the controversial XCP anti-copy system. The offer has been made in an e-mail
sent to Amazon customers known to have bought a CD by one of the 52 Sony which
contained the XCP software. Customers can get the refund by sending back the
CD, even if they have not used the disc in their computers.
