Microsoft has released the promised single-player demo (local US mirror ~ 1432MB) for Dungeon Siege II, allowing you to try out this soon-to-be-released 3D role-playing sequel by Gas Powered Games. The MEGA-MASSIVE demo includes two lengthy introductory cutscenes along with a portion from the beginning of the Mercenary campaign, from the tutorial section up to the Elven Shrine area. Another mirror: 3DGamers, FilePlanet, FileFront, WP, GH, GameSpot DLX, FileShack.

Update: I've replaced the original demo with the updated v2.2 demo which is smaller - only 911MB.

I started downloading, went outside, came back it was done. I wanted to open the file, and it says it's no a valid win 32 application!! When i look, it says the size is 436MB... No idea what's wrong, now i gonna watch it download all over again, so far 146mb...

it's good alright,..but i'm a fan of these games, my point of view isn't all that objective :) way better than DS1

Its good !!!

i got to lvl 15 with most skills at 7 but melee on 12
i like it that the monsters respawn (if you end game and reload)
i didnt like that there was no reload option and only 1 save slot (hate that) normally i wont buy i game if you cant save in more than 1 slot
grafics good if you scolled in close
sounds ok as well
looks worth getting
still waiting for oblivion so it will be a good time fill till then
