- Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (PS2/Xbox) - If Digital Illusions can
deliver on the rest of the maps and the single player campaign the way they
did with Backstab,
Xbox owners may finally have a good reason to eject Halo 2 from their
consoles this November and participate in Modern Combat's 24-player mayhem on
Live.
- Burnout Legends (PSP) - No other console racing game captures the speed
and insanity of arcade racers like Burnout does. And Burnout Legends on
PSP incorporates all the best features of the originals, the crashes and sense
of speed
- LA Rush (Xbox) - The current demo version of
Rush gives tastes of three modes. Race is your typical point-to-point
contest, only with the aforementioned crazy traffic and arcade physics

MTV Games is currently developing a game based on Jackass, the classic MTV
series starring Johnny Knoxville and his crew as they do wild and often
painful stunts.
- GTA PSP details leak - Despite Rockstar trying to ensure that
everyone keeps mum about GTA Liberty City Stories,
a few new details about the game have leaked out. For example, we now know
that the exercise and eating elements of San Andreas have been dropped, so
Toni Cipriani, a man who was forced into hiding after capping a 'made' guy, no
longer has to run, swim or go to the gym to keep his sex appeal up for the
ladies.
- DRIV3R Goes GBA - Atari has revealed that it will be sending
its free-roaming action game DRIV3R to the Game Boy Advance this fall. The
GBA version is being developed by G. Dubail and F. Velez, the team previously
responsible for Stuntman and V-Rally 3 on the handheld.
- Unreal Championship 2 Upgrade Available Soon - Epic Games, posted
some details on the first upgrade to Unreal Championship 2 (Xbox). Some of
the upgrades, such as the server outgoing bandwidth reduction are fixes that
the UC2 gamers have been eagerly awaiting. The patch is currently being tested
by Microsoft and should be available soon
- Xbox 360 peripheral update (Xbox 360) - At Microsoft's Xbox Summit
in Japan on Monday they revealed
some more information on the peripherals included in the Xbox 360 box and
those which you'll be able to purchase separately. Included in the box (which
are green and white, in Japan at least) is a wireless controller, an Xbox Live
headset, Ethernet cable, a 20 GB hard drive and presumably an AV cable.
Peripherals available separately include additional wireless and wired
controllers, faceplates, a number of AV cables, memory cards, remote control,
larger hard drives, wireless adapters and controller chargers.
- FreeBSD for the Xbox -
The port is fully functional. The framebuffer is fully supported, same
goes for sound and USB devices (such as an USB keyboard for the console). Only
ethernet is missing, currently, as the binary only driver in
/usr/ports/net/nvnet fails with an error 5, for some reason. Assistance there
would be very welcome.
- WAB PAD Region Swapper PSP - WAB have released their
WAB PAD Region Swapper utility for the PSP. With it, the user can swap the
X and O buttons on the JAP v1.50 PSP only, so in that respect (only the button
mapping) it will function as a US PSP.
- Fuse TV offers free PSP video downloads - Look no further than to
Fuse TV - it's like MTV, but
with music videos. Just go to the main page, click on downloads, then portable
video.
