S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - New Video + 4 Articles
- briefly

The fan site Oblivion-Lost.com has posted
a new movie
(54.9MB ~
XviD
/
Unrar
) of
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
, in which real-life footage and extracts from trailers are compared - the result is stunning. Sometimes the transition cannot even be clearly noticed. Also, there are some small never-seen sequences from the game that were taken from a DVD of the Russian print magazien "Igromania".
Additionally, Oblivion-Lost.com offers
four revealing articles on S.T.A.L.K.E.R
. These are summaries of articles published in "Igromania", the editors of which had the opportunity to stay at GSC Game World's for one week and extensively gather interesting info for their reports. The first article talks about the developers' thoughts about the project. While the second and third one depict the A.I. and "A. Life"from a yet different and interesting perspective, one finds out in the fourth article what the multi-player of the game will look like and how it will set it apart from the competitors.
And finallly, the latest edition of the
German print magazine GameStar
(thanks
Oblivion-Lost.com
) has
some details regarding the official soundtrack
of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and its composer -
Markus Holler
. Markus Holler has been working on different soundtracks for several years, such as Cold Zero, Chicago 1930 or Hotel Giant. The soundtrack was recorded in Prague last year and a medley of it was played at the opening concert of the German Games Convention (the first games-related European symphony concert in history) by FILMharmonic Orchestra Prague. Markus Holler was responsible for the intro and outro/credits music. "I received some samples from the developers. It was quite a wild mixture of hardcore metal and electronic sounds. And, frankly, that is not my style. The music that I submitted, however, convinced GSC Game World."
