Rome: Total War v1.2 patch - patch
(hx) 04:08 PM EST - Feb,03 2005 - Post a comment / read (1)
Ativision has released a new patch (local US mirror ~ 60MB) for Rome: Total War, bringing this strategy sequel by Creative Assembly to version 1.2. This massive 60MB patch includes improved performance, single player improvements and multiplayer connectivity updates. The patch also includes new developer tools (allowing you to create and script battles, and create videos).  The Total War website should be updated with tutorials for these tools soon. The 1.2 patch will be required to play games online. Another mirrors: Activision, 3DGamers, FileFront, FileShack.

Creative Assembly really did great work with this patch. This is the game that should've been released 6 months ago.

There's still a few minor bugs, but nothing major. I love this game now.
