One interesting aspect of F.E.A.R.'s multiplayer is the inclusion of melee attacks, which can be lethal when used properly. There's the standard weapon smash, and then there are special combos, such as a jump attack that launches you feet-first at opponents. There's also a slide attack that, if successful, is an instant kill. At the moment, the animations for the melee combos feel a little stuff, and it was pretty hard to successfully hit anyone, but it was still pretty fun to try. You can run faster when you holster your weapons, which provides a little extra incentive to go for the combo attacks.
