- Psychotoxic Preview - GameSpot has posted
a brief preview of Psychotoxic, the upcoming first person shooter from
NuClearVision that's being published in the US by Whiptail Interactive.
- Project: Snowblind Release Date; Q&A - According to Eidos,
Project: Snowblind, Crystal Dynamics' upcoming shooter that began life as
Deus Ex: Clan Wars will be released on February 23rd 2004 for PS2, Xbox and
PC. There's also
the second official footage (direct
link ~ 12.2MB) for the game. In another related news, GameSpot has
posted
a new Q&A with Zak McClendon of Crystal Dynamics.
- Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Q&A - Fansite Oblivion Source has
posted
an interview with Bethesda's Pete Hines about Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion,
the fourth installment in the 'Elder Scrolls' series.
- Oddworld Stranger's Wrath Interview (Q&A) - HomeLAN has posted
an
interview with Lorne Lanning of Oddworld Inhabitants as he talks about
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, their upcoming next Xbox game in their Oddworld
series.
- Children of the Nile Bonus Scenario -
There is a new bonus scenario for Children of the Nile, expanding the
recent Egyptian 3D management strategy game by Tilted Mill Entertainment.
This is a sandbox scenario called Akhetaten that "includes military,
interconnected trade and a series of monuments for the player to build along
the Nile."
- Hearts of Iron 2 Demo -
- Starshatter demo v3.9.4 - Matrix Games has issued
an updated playable demo for Starshatter, elevating the space combat
simulation by Destroyer Studios to version 3.9.4. The new demo includes the
training campaign, Operation Live Fire, and the first five days of the first
dynamic campaign, Operation Highland, along with a few single missions and a
few multiplayer missions that can be enjoyed entirely for free.
- Terraformers updated demo & patch v1.03 - Pin Interactive has
released
a new patch for Terraformers, advancing their sci-fi first-person action
game for seeing and sight disabled gamers to version 1.03. This release
fixes various crash issues and is accompanied by an updated v1.03 demo.
- Beyond Divinity v1.47 patch - The official Beyond Divinity
website now has
a new
version 1.47 patch for the English language versions of Beyond Divinity,
Larian Studios' RPG sequel.
- Shadow Ops: Red Mercury patches - Atari has released
some new patches for the PC edition of Shadow Ops: Red Mercury.
- Chaos League patch v1.07 - The Chaos League web site now
offers
a new version 1.07 patch for Cyanide's game of sports and mayhem.
- Gish Patch v1.3 -
A new patch for Gish is now available, updating Chronic Logic's ball of
tar game to version 1.3.
- George Romero Games - Hip Interactive has announced that its
publishing division, Hip Games, signed an agreement with Living Dead
Productions Limited to produce a George A. Romero series of video games on
all current and upcoming platforms. "Romero's movies, including "Dawn of the
Dead" and "Night of the Living Dead," benefit from a strong, worldwide
cult-following, which translates into continuous success for the movies and
their merchandising. Now, finally, his fans will have the long-awaited
series of video games that capture the entire universe of zombies, action
and gore of George A. Romero. Hip Games will soon be announcing the first
game of the series in a separate release."
- Euro World of Warcraft Beta Details - The Final Beta Test, which
is currently scheduled
for the end of December / beginning of January, will begin
simultaneously in English, French and German. The start of the Final Beta
Test will be the next time new testers will be welcomed to join the game.
- Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Web Site Relaunched - Ubi Soft has
relaunched the
official Splinter Cell website that now acts as a portal to all of the
titles in the Tom Clancy branded stealth action game series
