There's an English playable demo for The Moment of Silence (local US mirror ~ 294MB), allowing you to try out this 3D adventure game by German developer House of Tales. The Moment of Silence is a high-tech political thriller. Players step into the shoes of Peter Wright, a communications designer currently working on the Government's "Freedom of Speech" campaign. When a SWAT team storms his neighbour's apartment, it is Peter's job to uncover the truth behind his mysterious disappearance. The game is slated for release in October 2004. The demo features a game section set on a prison island, complete with FMV cutscenes. The massive 294MB demo can also be found on 3DGamers, FileFront, WP, Fileaholic, FileRush.
