Far Cry retail patch v1.2 - patch

As promised, Ubi Soft has released
a new patch for Far Cry,
updating their tropical island first-person shooter by Crytek Studios to
version 1.2. The release adds Shader Model 3.0 support for GeForce 6-series of
videocards, quicksave support, increases run speeds (15%) and sprint
lengths(30%), adjustes damage to vehicles, fixes some Punkbuster problems and
addresses a large number of gameplay issues. The complete list of changes can be

Update: In an unusual move, Ubi Soft Entertainment has recalled the patch due to "unexpected behaviour on specific hardware configurations. |
