The game's simple gameplay is accomplish the various tasks you are given while battling all of the trigger happy bad guys that are all over the place in the game. You can switch from a third to a first person viewpoint in Torrente and you rack up the body count rather quickly right from the start. Torrente also tends to say some rather mature..language in the game as well, (yes, in English). Graphically, the game does bear a certain resemblance to the slightly cartoony style that the current GTA games have but you shouldn't expect the best looking game of all time (this is a 2001 game, after all).
