That video is very impressive. It doesn't look like the regular "trailer cgi" but instead has more of a game engine feel. Either way the character animation looks really nice.

Based on those screenshots posted earlier I don't know what to think about this video. They don't seem to match in the least.

If the real game has this kind weather system with the wind and rain and whatnot, I'll have to add this back on the list to consider.

We need some gameplay vids now to see if any of those graphics are in the actual game.

Hmmm, the extra time to work on the engine and transfer it over to DX9 has probably paid off somewhat.
The game hasn't had much press lately so the developers are probably hard at it, perfecting the game as much as they can.
If the release doesn't end up feeling completely polished I will extremely disappointed, they've spent a great deal of time on this one game. No excuses! heh.

That was an intro cgi video, not in-game graphics.
If you want to have an idea about the new looks of the game, check out these screens. They were made on medium graphics settings, so expect more bump mapping and shadows on high settings.

Still, I've always liked how Stalker looks in action more, those screens don't do it justice.
I can't wait till mp-demo comes out in december-january!

I personally don't know what to think of this game, the gfx do look really good, but the game is not what was originally intended. I still look forward to picking it up though! Cool
