Here're some
new images of Gears Of War (earlier E3 video), the upcoming third-person tactical action/horrorshooter and the first game developed by Epic Games exclusively for the Xbox 360. The game will be available on November 12, 2006 (November 17th in UK).

Windows Vista and DX9, as the 360 runs on a rough version of Vista, and it uses DirectX 9

Nah - the 360 uses a specificly built "dashboard" since it's kinda useless to use a x86 kernel on the custom built three core PowerPC CPU. And using untested post beta 1 code from a unreleased OS...ah - you get the picture either way. Razz
