it looks interesting, but what did you think of the demo (aside from those who already commented in the demo post) ?

I´ve played through the german fullgame of Darkstar1, which has been released over a month ago here in Germany.

If I had to rate it i would give it an 80% rating.

The Pros:
- Great graphics
- very easy and intuitive controls
- good story
- it´s quite long (playtime was about 20-25 hours)

The Cons:
- needs highend CPU/GPU (I had to disable shadows on my AMD X2 4800+ with a Geforce7900GTX) Shocked

- all star-systems look and feel the same
- not much motivation to play the game a second time (linear story,...)

It´s a good game and a solid spaceshooter, but it certainly is no successor to the Privateer-series.

Found this game very uninteresting playing the demo.. Gfx were fine though for me, I believe I had it maxxed but.. demo and maybe not all options available.. Just couldn't get into this game at all..
