Stardock is a nice little company, I've been supporting them through the purchase of their Object Desktop suite for over 2 years now.
I bet all the StarForce employees have Demonoid accounts Laughing

I feel so strongly about copy protection messing with games.
That I will immediately purchase their game via their website.

Good job for this company making a stand on their product in general.
In stead of protecting its software leading to everyone hating it and not buying, off that comany again.

Maybe we should enter the StarForce discussion board and post a message to Torrents of the games they protect... Some are really hard to crack, but hey, everything can be cracked.

Stardock has my simpaties.

As far as I can see, anyone using Starforce on their game has severely affected the profits of their game. Just too many gamers out there that just don't like Starforce. Starforce drives people to pirate it doesn't stop it and anyone who says otherwise is crazy. Evetually even Starforce get's bypassed. Right now I am waiting for the no-cd for Two Thrones..followup patches? Who cares... Rare when I've gotten a game I couldn't finish without patches.
