| I went from Win 11 to Kubuntu and really liked the snappy feel of the Linux distro and easy to install apps. I play a lot of Star Citizen and had a Tobii Eyetracker 5. After migrating to Kubuntu, I realized Tobii has no Linux driver and no workaround existed to make the Eyetracker 5 work. The Tobii company has no interest, desire, or future concept to build a driver for Linux. Since the Eyetracker was a significant investment, I migrated back to Win 11. The moral is check all of your devices for Linux compatibility before taking the plunge. |
