A decent PC beats any console any day. Consoles have been around because they are dedicated, zero maintenance as opposed to PCs. That's the only reason consoles still exist today.

You stream nothing... You just plug in video cable - no streaming there!

Not quite. It highlights how little Microsoft execs know about the industry they are supposedly leaders of. Consoles have always been secondary since the dawn of PC, and always will be. Zero changes. Parents will always prefer a zero maintenance console. What they dislike is the fact that they own nothing. In a subscription model, the console hardware should be free, much like how you get the set-top box with your TV or the modem with your internet subscription - and it should be updated for free when the service changes. This is the biggest problem you need to solve. Plus, the fact that there are no decent games coming (either PC or console) - nobody is willing to pay for shite titles. |
