Well I guess I can try this again. It was enough it couldn't detect my retail DVD but then when I finally got into it I ran into cheater after cheater and said Hahahahaha F this.. Gawd I just left HL2 due to increasing cheating I'm not gonna start in a new game. But I did finish the game twice in the meantime, because the CD would load if I wasn't on the net.. So guess I know what I'm trying tonite. If I should happen to have another cd validation problem, it's GONE. I'm not wasting my time with shoddy games or games with Starforce. I don't care how good the game is, it detracts from playing my other quality games. My computer must have rebooted a dozen times trying to play BOS and I NEVER EVER got to try MP. MP worked in the demo but after some what? 4-5 weeks I still couldn't get to play online. I just returned the game, took the loss in the tradein and got Battlefront 2.

- Well finally I can play without messing around with the DVD
- Had problems with sound(can't hear my bullets), had to install that WMF codec found on DVD (interesting) fixed the problem
- Game still chops like it used too, maybe not as bad, but still does
- Karate crap is bs, i like the idea, but with lag you can't hit them and they appear to be hitting you from 10ft away with kicks.. Get's a little lame

Anyhow, it's playable so I guess I'll be playing this on and off, unfortuntely nobody playing was playing a new map, so I've yet to experience the new maps.
