Even 8TB is small by today's standards and it's going to cost a fortune.
Meh, no, thanks. I'll just do a 16-disk array from 512Gig drives - it will be far faster, too.
Also, it looks like shit; on paper they claim 14000MB/sec and in practice you get 900-930MB/sec. WTF?
False advertisement or failed implementation? |

I have the capacity for 4 Gen4 NVMe's. I have a 2TB just for the OS (using the CPU lane) , then i have SSD's for games.
I also have a WD Black 6TB for games @1440. Bull-fucking shit that people go on about slower HDD for gaming, when a fast HDD is perfect enough.
Games like Cyberpunk i have on SSD.
Just fucking sales pitch and pedantic kids |
