Intel is trying to compete with Ryzen AI 9 laptops but when it comes to temperatures, performance, heat and battery life, they might have gone too far for minimal gains. Then again, if you need a thin and light ultra portable laptop with good multi threaded performance, the Ultra 9 285H could be an option vs the Ryzen

Intel’s definitely overdoing it with the Ultra 9 285H. It’s got power, but the heat and battery drain aren’t worth the slight performance edge. Ryzen's still the better pick unless you absolutely need that ultra-thin design.
