of Heroes and Ys series developer Nihon Falcom, passed away at the age of 78 on December 15, Falcom announced.

Kato was born on August 19, 1946, and founded Falcom in March 1981 at the age of 34. He served as president since the companyâ??s founding, but became a chairman in 2001.

A wake and funeral will be held
